Tokyo

After many years of living, teaching, researching, and working in Japan, I can help visitors look beyond the standard itinerary. A tour might explore neighborhoods, gardens, plants and ethnobotany, art, architecture, food, music, makerspaces, or the details of daily life that are easy to miss without a local connection.

Mexico

My family connections and years in Puerto Vallarta give me a personal understanding of Mexican life as well as the experience of moving between Mexican, U.S., and Japanese cultures. Depending on location and availability, tours may focus on local culture, food, plants, art, neighborhoods, nature, or a visitor's particular questions.

Before making plans, I will ask about your interests, mobility needs, timing, group size, language preferences, and the kind of pace you enjoy. I work in English and Spanish and can also support visitors in Japanese.
